Legit companies I've tried. Today I wanted to share with you all a few companies that I have tried that are legit ways of earning extra money during your free time. These companies have not asked or paid me to do this blog, this is all on my own free will.<br />
<br />
First up is actually an app called <a href="http://getlocket.com/r/?7aba097f" target="_blank">Locket</a>. This one is completely tried and true. While you don't make money quick, it doesn't take much to make it. Locket is an app that replaces your lock screen on your cell phone and with each unlock swipe you earn a penny. Plus they are other ways of earning money through their app, watching videos, downloading other apps and signing up for things. I earned $10.50 in about a month, but you could earn more than me by just using the earn more section of the app. They pay twice a month and I received my first payment on time.<br />
<br />

<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg_Gf_2KywQFwo9DEvCJr6btcQ2HhWQ9utYLeGX4AfeKIpFCtjduT2iXXU9W3FqMDfYMKOEmjmO5bNOSnRWW8M1MJoaH1qVLHi-spGrVJF4SvS1bOCrO9rb1WIj5QttGDhOirWDc4mxkk9p/s1600/paypalscrn.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="65" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg_Gf_2KywQFwo9DEvCJr6btcQ2HhWQ9utYLeGX4AfeKIpFCtjduT2iXXU9W3FqMDfYMKOEmjmO5bNOSnRWW8M1MJoaH1qVLHi-spGrVJF4SvS1bOCrO9rb1WIj5QttGDhOirWDc4mxkk9p/s400/paypalscrn.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Here's proof of the payment I received. Try it out and if you don't like it just uninstall it, no harm done.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Second up is <a href="http://www.slicethepie.com/?wyd=677878" target="_blank">Slice The Pie</a>. This is by far the most fun one I have tried. You actually get to review songs and earn a profit in doing so. I do suggest that you review as many songs as possible in your first week because you earn a bigger profit, than you do later on. My first week I was earning roughly .20 cents per review, and now after being a member I earn about .09 to .10 cents per song. Your profit depends on how much you type, if it's the minimum you will earn the minimum. I tend to type a lot depending on the song. Music lovers, this is definitely the way to earn a little extra funds. That doesn't mean all the songs are great, there are some gems I've reviewed, but I've also reviewed some truly terrible songs. You are able to withdraw your funds after you hit $10. I haven't quite hit that yet, only because I haven't reviewed as much as I should. But I have read many reviews about this site and this company is definitely legitimate. Here's a screenshot of the page you review songs on.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgwmhaYb7hZhUknjK9mLciWDUzY4-szluusZKAo18KyanLAax0OrMYl10XZg24cXdpdX9kmldWyhmyw9_PDt-_eEIPxe77-O5SR0Hjuu80xFwK9qFTlPot_8keLnxtnARqE5xXEMcz3ZuL0/s1600/slicethepie.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgwmhaYb7hZhUknjK9mLciWDUzY4-szluusZKAo18KyanLAax0OrMYl10XZg24cXdpdX9kmldWyhmyw9_PDt-_eEIPxe77-O5SR0Hjuu80xFwK9qFTlPot_8keLnxtnARqE5xXEMcz3ZuL0/s400/slicethepie.jpg" width="368" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
The white box is where you type your review, again the more you type the more you earn. The scale 0 - 10 is where you give the song a rating. The 90 is the seconds in which you are required to listen to the song, after that you can pause the song, or continue listening to the rest of it. They give you a ranking, the higher rank you are the more you earn, as you can see I'm a silver rank and have about 40% to go before I become gold. Anyway, try it out, it really is a lot of fun.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Last but not least is <a href="http://circumnews.com/p55902" target="_blank">Circum News</a>. Now this site is relatively new, but with my experience and reading others experience it seems legit. Basically you read news links they have posted for you to read and you earn $2.00 for each one read. Plus for each referral you earn $9.00. I just signed up yesterday, and I've already earned over $30.00. From what I've read the Available New for you to read and earn updates every few days, so if you've earned all that you can don't be discouraged just keep checking back. I've read people making $100's within their first week. Give it a try, it's really not time consuming at all and whats the harm in earning a little extra money. I promise that with my first payment, I'll post about it just to prove for sure just how legitimate it is. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEja7384Va-yU011ZMho03rKLy2lrEZ9vLUujdyPbHIOpL7uXOZjKciA77MNPHnH3OzviJjVCUBluOoESjH0U7hEkljh1yN_X_sEcTkDCAtrhqcqnlwSUeXZIdjDgXxVz8mS8uFf_9Fl2zib/s1600/circumnews.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="232" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEja7384Va-yU011ZMho03rKLy2lrEZ9vLUujdyPbHIOpL7uXOZjKciA77MNPHnH3OzviJjVCUBluOoESjH0U7hEkljh1yN_X_sEcTkDCAtrhqcqnlwSUeXZIdjDgXxVz8mS8uFf_9Fl2zib/s400/circumnews.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Here's what the Available News list looks like on <a href="http://circumnews.com/p55902" target="_blank">Circum News</a>, just click on the link read an article, close the article and confirm you've read it. Super simple. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
So get out there and earn a little extra money, definitely helps around this time of year!</div>

<span style="color: #646464; font-family: Merriweather;"><span style="font-size: 15px; line-height: 20px;">Next up for review is </span><a href="https://www.facebook.com/SchwarzkopfProfessionalUSA?directed_target_id=0" style="font-size: 15px; line-height: 20px;" target="_blank">OSiS+ Hair Product by Schwarzkopf Professionals</a><span style="font-size: 15px; line-height: 20px;">. I have naturally curly hair, but because of the naturally frizzy hair that come with it I normally style it more on the straight/wavy side. I have tried many, and I mean many different kinds of hair products to accentuate my curls but tame my frizz, and until now have not found one. Today I tried </span></span><a href="https://www.facebook.com/SchwarzkopfProfessionalUSA?directed_target_id=0" style="font-family: Merriweather; font-size: 15px; line-height: 20px;" target="_blank">OSiS+ Hair Product by Schwarzkopf Professionals</a> Gelastic ultra strong flex gel. A not very known fact about me, I actually only wash my hair 2 times a week. Since I have curly, long hair it dries out very easily if I shampoo it frequently, even with conditioner and leave in treatments. Today was my day of shampooing, after rinsing, conditioning, and drying (with a microfiber towel) I went on with my normal hair regimen, leave in conditioner, detangling spray and anti-frizz serium. I then combed my hair and applied about a silver dollar size of the gel in my palm, disbursed it evenly and scrunched my hair to push my hair into curly mode. I actually really like this product, it's not too crunchy, holds the curls well but still moves with me. All in all I would definitely recommend this product, and will be purchasing it again in the future.<br />

I received my Influenster Spring Fever VoxBox a few days ago, and in the VoxBox included this yummy <a href="http://www.tastykake.com/products/kandybarkakes" target="_blank">Kandy Bar Kake from Tatsykake</a>! This box I received complimentary for testing purposes.<br />
<br />
Believe it or not, I am not a huge chocolate fan. I can eat it in small doses, but I find it too rich for my pallet. I split this bar in half with my husband, and to my surprise we both love it. I had never heard of Tastykake before, it must not be sold in my area, but after eating one I will now be on the hunt to purchase these in the furture. It was very moist, with just the right amount of Reese's peanut butter.Jamie Wallshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08263319058046087733noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7464840518683623274.post-11701998903107132672013-06-05T11:59:00.001-07:002013-06-05T11:59:31.334-07:00Broadway Nails imPRESSThis spring I was honored to be qualified for the Spring Fever VoxBox from Influenster! Today I'm reviewing <a href="http://impressmanicure.com/" target="_blank">Broadway Nails ImPRESS</a> nails I received. Also you can go on their website and get a $1 off coupon.<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
The package comes with basically one set of nails that last a week, but comes with more options since all nail sizes are different. I had some nails that fit perfectly and others not so perfect. They come in a shorter length so I had to file my nails down. They stuck on pretty well, but at times was hard to peel of the protector sheet to reveal the stickiness. All in all they work really well for a special occasion, but didn't hold up too well for my day to day life. I will say that I didn't have one of them pop off, like the ones I used to put on as a child. :)</div>

I wanted something colorful and relatively simple and this is what I came up with. <br />
<br />
I used a dotting tool to create the polka dots and eyes, the rest was done with a nail polish brush. Don't forget the clear coat!<br />

You can click on the word <a href="http://wildaboutpolish.blogspot.com/2012/06/update-on-me.html">Iggy</a> to see the post about him being rescued. I really wanted to share with everyone how much better he is now, and how happy of a puppy he's become.</p>
<p>April 2nd, we celebrated his first birthday! I made him little pupcakes, made of rice, hamburger and mixed vegetables, topped with mashed potatoes. He got to eat two, and a few of his puppy friends got to have one too.</p>
<p>When we first got him, he was afraid to be outside, afraid of all people and only wanted to be with us. He now loves the outdoors, barks at people instead of running away in fear and loves playing with other dogs. I guess I'm just trying to say we're so proud of our puppy's progress. He's turned into an amazing dog. </p>

My husband and I have been doing photography on the side since 2009. Last week we got an opportunity to photograph a 6 week old baby boy, Devin. He's so adorable, and I wanted to share a few great photos we got of him.<br />

<br />
It has been so long. Our life has been a whirlwind these past months. Life gave us lemons, and we tried making lemonade, but sometimes there were just too many lemons. Hehe. Long story short, we had to move and make a lot of financial adjustments, but we're making do and doing much better.<br />
<br />
I just wanted to post what my nails have looked like the past few months, as I try to get back into the swing of things again. Here's to the first of many more posts to come!<br />
<br />
<br />

It's been a while, life has been crazy in so many different ways, and I haven't been able to keep up. I do intend to get back to blogging regularly soon. Until then, I'd like to talk about <a href="http://www.influenster.com/" target="_blank">Influenster</a>. The best way to understand what Influenster is, is to go on their website and check it out for yourself. It's free to join, and if you're able to influence enough people, and unlock enough badges you can qualify to test and review free products! So check them out at www.influenster.com. I've qualified before, and was able to test out some really great products. My<a href="http://wildaboutpolish.blogspot.com/2012/05/31-day-challenge.html" target="_blank"> 31 Day Nail Challenge</a>, journey has passed the half way mark. I was actually nervous about tribal, but once I had a plan and started it, it was smooth sailing all the way. I am incredibly happy with these nails, and can not wait to try out different patterns and colors in the future.<br />
<br />
I used 6 colors all together. One color for each finger nail (as a base coat) and black polish to draw on the patterns.<br />

I realize I'm a day later than I said I would be, but I'm happy I finally accomplished delicate print! It was a real doozy. At first my vision was to do some sort of stamping, but I really need to practice stamping more. I've watched tons of tutorials, and still can not achieve what I want. Anyway, I'll figure it out someday. So with delicate print I went more literal, and did comic book nails! Hey, I'd describe the pages of an Archie comic book to be delicate print, wouldn't you? Haha.<br />

They're no where near perfect, but they're fun. I used Jordana French Tip white as the base coat. Allowed it to dry, and poured rubbing alcohol in a shot glass. I dipped a finger in for 30 seconds, stuck on the newsprint and pressed firmly down for another 30 seconds, the slowly pealed the newsprint off. Once each finger was done (and dry, very important) I used my favorite Seche Vite Top Coat.</div>

It's definitely been a whirlwind these past few days. My husband rescued an 8 week old puppy, after seeing him thrown out of a car window (while the car was in motion). This poor thing was covered in ticks, stuck everywhere (and I mean everywhere) with fox tails, swollen eyes, and completely malnourished. We are die hard animal lovers, like my biggest dream in life is to have a large property with all sorts for animals. So we took the puppy to the vet, got him treated, medicated and free of stickers and ticks. He has an eye infection in both eyes, which we hope will heal in the next week or so. Anyway, meet the newest member to our little family, Iggy.<br />
<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Anyway, besides the chaos of taking care of a sick puppy, and preparing our house for him. I also had a job interview yesterday for a part time job that's perfect for me (fingers crossed I get it!), and my Great Uncle came into town. He's my Grandma's only sibling, she's 89 and he's 91, so it was really important to me to visit with them. My Grandma and I have always been extremely close, she lived next door to me from birth to when I moved out on my own at 18. She has had a tremendous impact on who I am today. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>

I will be doing my nails tonight (unless my husband rescues another animal, haha!) and hopefully posting it tomorrow. I promise I'll be back to my same old routine soon.</div>

Because of this I have decided to do my nails every other day, or every few days. Just so I can enjoy my hard works a few days before removing and starting the next challenge.<br />
<br />
At this point in the challenge it's safe to say that each challenge from here on out will be a new experience for me. Well besides water marbling, but that was such a fail that I still can't say I have much experience in that one either. Haha. So I took to the web, to research flowers, and how to tutorials. It was <a href="http://www.nailnerd.com/how-to-paint-roses-on-your-nails/" target="_blank">NailNerd.com : How to Paint Rose on Your Nails</a> that caught my eye and gave me the know how to do what I had imagined on my nails.<br />

My finger is feeling better, so I was able to remove the stripe nails (Finally!) and move on to animal print. I'm not a huge animal print fan. I like it, but rarely do I wear it. My favorite is leopard, well I also really love peacock feathers if that is considered animal print. Anyway, I am a little more wild when it comes to my nails, in comparison to my wardrobe, so leopard print is actually one of my favorite things to do on my nails (at least at the moment.).<br />
<br />
Here's the polishes I used in order.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgQCNlj7MVCllCclPRW0KDKsCsd-HU6SFUcrjKuS_C-e8CKoRqydyNdLrBaDVuN9TX4nU9AEJaULowmZnNwdvUDvvk1-bHF8fa1ujV7N9yJPMG65x5CJyBfdgNry_NgrwT0dX4BOLHEIRxA/s1600/leopardnailpolish.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="213" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgQCNlj7MVCllCclPRW0KDKsCsd-HU6SFUcrjKuS_C-e8CKoRqydyNdLrBaDVuN9TX4nU9AEJaULowmZnNwdvUDvvk1-bHF8fa1ujV7N9yJPMG65x5CJyBfdgNry_NgrwT0dX4BOLHEIRxA/s400/leopardnailpolish.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
From left to right: Pure Ice Art in Motion (White), <a href="http://wnwbeauty.com/product.php?cid=18&pid=18&subid=18" target="_blank">Wet n Wild Megalast Break the Ice</a>, <a href="http://www.sallyhansen.com/products/nails/nail-color/hard-nails-xtreme-wear" target="_blank">Sally Hansen Hard as Nails Xtreme Wear Golden-I</a>, <a href="http://www.kissusa.com/669-8697/Nail_Artist_Paint_&_Stencil_Kit" target="_blank">Kiss Nail Art Paint in Black and Silver</a>, and <a href="http://www.seche.com/" target="_blank">Seche Vite Top Coat</a>.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I used the white as a base coat. Then painted the <a href="http://wnwbeauty.com/product.php?cid=18&pid=18&subid=18" target="_blank">Wet n Wild Megalast Break the Ice</a> on top, let that dry completely. I painted the
<a href="http://www.sallyhansen.com/products/nails/nail-color/hard-nails-xtreme-wear" target="_blank">Sally Hansen Hard as Nails Xtreme Wear Golden-I</a> on a cosmetic sponge wedge and "sponged" the tips and mid section of my nail creating a pearl and gold gradient. I used the Kiss Black polish to draw on the spots with a small sized nail dotter, and used the Kiss Silver to fill in the spots. Lastly the <a href="http://www.seche.com/" target="_blank">Seche Vite Top Coat</a> to finish 'em off. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

This product is amazing. Seriously. It's very easy to apply with your fingers to under your eyes or to blend in areas on your face. It comes with a lighter and darker shade, and together you can blend them to create a natural shade to your skin color. It applies extremely smooth and leaves absolutely no cakey heavy mess. I definitely recommend this product, and plan on purchasing the one month supply kit of 6 products + 3 bonus products for $29.95 on <a href="http://www.sheercover.com/" target="_blank">Sheer Cover's website</a>. </div>

Which is great timing because I burned my finger pretty badly last night while cooking, so my fingernails need a few days off.<br />
<br />
First up is <a href="http://www.bathandbodyworks.com/home/index.jsp" target="_blank">Moonlight Path Fine Fragrance Mist, by Bath & Body Works</a>.<span style="font-family: inherit;"><span style="background-color: white; color: #565656; line-height: 20px; text-align: center;"> </span><span style="background-color: white; line-height: 20px; text-align: center;">I</span><span style="background-color: white; line-height: 20px; text-align: center;">t comes in an 8oz bottle and retails for $14.00. It has a really light airy smell somewhat on the sweet side, but definitely not overpowering. The fragrance is long lasting, and I'm quickly falling in love and wanting to buy more scents! <a href="http://www.bathandbodyworks.com/family/index.jsp?categoryId=4191851&cm_sp=BC-_-Fragrance+Mist+%26+Splash+-_-Fragrance+Mist&cp=12586965.12587143" target="_blank">Check out all the scents Bath & Body Works has to offer here.</a></span></span><br />

Like most of these challenges I did not have any experience with painting stripes on my nails. So I decided to wing it.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgMjggqg3Szqi2vo208lYy4X3OUNKFKql_DlC5a74mRreyeIDhCsoGxkoRslLKAGLtUwD8fwbJnbPOMK952b-nH0zH1X5IdIcHMu6EAUoEN-xQ8Cj-W2fBPgsSgbVIWe_fMwGfBkFqu62gS/s1600/Stripe1_2ab.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="203" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgMjggqg3Szqi2vo208lYy4X3OUNKFKql_DlC5a74mRreyeIDhCsoGxkoRslLKAGLtUwD8fwbJnbPOMK952b-nH0zH1X5IdIcHMu6EAUoEN-xQ8Cj-W2fBPgsSgbVIWe_fMwGfBkFqu62gS/s400/Stripe1_2ab.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
As the base coat I used <a href="http://www.walgreens.com/store/c/wet-n-wild-megalast-salon-nail-color/ID=prod6097905-product">Wet n Wild Megalast Wet Cement</a>. Which, by the way, I LOVE. The second color I used was<a href="http://thepolishexchange.blogspot.com/2012/04/salon-perfect-is-blooming-with-nail.html"> Salon Perfect Sour Apple</a> on every nail but the accent finger, in which I used <a href="http://wnwbeauty.com/product.php?cid=18&pid=18&subid=18">Wet n Wild Megalast Through the Grapevine</a>. </div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Finally I used <a href="http://www.kissusa.com/669-8697/Nail_Artist_Paint_&_Stencil_Kit">Kiss Nail Artist Paint & Stencil kit White Polish</a> to draw the white line down the middle.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I'm happy with them, nice and simple. </div>

To see what I did for the gradient challenge click <a href="http://wildaboutpolish.blogspot.com/2012/05/day-10-gradient.html">here</a>.<br />
<br />
I got smart and made a step by step on a sheet of paper, instead of having to explain the steps I took to create the polka dot look. I have never done polka dot nails. I tried several techniques I found online, and the one I demonstrated worked out way better than the other ones.<br />

Finally starting to feel like I'm getting back into the swing of things. This was my second time ever doing gradient. I used<a href="http://www.sallyhansen.com/products/nails/nail-color/hard-nails-color"> Sally Hansen Hard as Nails, Hard-core Party</a> as the base coat. The base coat took about 3 coats, to get it thick enough. Once the base coat fully dried, I dunked a cosmetic sponge in water and then used<a href="http://www.walmart.com/ip/Pure-Ice-987-Gossip-Nail-Polish-.5-fl-oz/10422360"> Pure Ice Gossip!</a> to sponge on the gradient tip. And finished with <a href="http://www.seche.com/">Seche Vite Top Coat</a>.<br />

<br />
I am so so happy with the way they turned out! Tomorrow is polka dot, and I think I am just going to add on from this one, because my nails are still sore from removing the metallic challenge, and attempting too many rainbow nails. Hope ya'll are having a great Memorial Day weekend!<br />
<br />

I had tons of ideas, none of which turned out as I would have liked. I basically settled while thinking over and over again "Tomorrow is a new day!".<br />
<br />
While I did strive to do this and post it yesterday, after hours of removing the glitter from Day 8, and several failed attempt at the rainbow looks I had in mind, I lost all motivation to carry on until finished. Instead I went to bed, woke up and did everything I could the achieve victory.<br />
<br />
I used 9 different polishes, and took a photo of them instead of having to list each of them, which I will post along with my finished product. I ended up painting my nails white, and using a toothpick to drag along each color creating the "rainbow". I then added 2 glitter polishes to the bottom of my nail to do a sparkle cloud effect.<br />
<br />

The weather is amazing, and I am sad to be heading back tomorrow. But we've spent some time on the beach, tried some amazing food and took some time to shop. I did these nails the night before we left for this trip and they'v e held up really well. I wish the camera would capture how good the glitter looks, but oh well.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
The base coat is <a href="http://www.sallyhansen.com/products/nails/nail-color/hard-nails-xtreme-wear">Sally Hansen's Hard as Nails Xtreme Wear in Golden-I</a>. With the glitter I chose to paint the tips of each nail, besides the accent nail that I painted entirely. I used <a href="http://www.jordanacosmetics.com/p-140-glitter-specialty-nail-polish.aspx">Jordana Glitters Funky Town Gold</a>. And finished it up with <a href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00150LT40">Seche Vite Top Coat</a>. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Oh, and here's a photo I took of the nails fresh. Like I said it was night, so I was taking the photo on my bed, and this is the exact reason why I take nail photos outside. Meet my cat Desi.</div>

There's still 24 days left, but I really feel that this has helped my skill immensely already.<br />
<br />
I'm going to be taking another few days off. My husband is headed to L.A. for work, and he really wants me to go with him. We live in Chico, California, which is 2 hours north of Sacramento. It truly is a great area, but the weather is so much more amazing in Southern California. Tomorrow we will start our 8 hour drive, and spend a few days down there. Day 8 is Metallic, and I should be able to post that on Wednesday. Anyway, unto Day 7.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEieb3ov044SPQyYox6MqviEYGN2qomJvsHnSIIxGISADxSbDYJkw64QrusrAN0fjiXtYHPSazRhWAsyyPQgZvRpWF46UpC_sqWs0ka8rwYHcYdzDASyiMaUloX9aYOsFqbUhI7b1z-37Mq2/s1600/Black_White1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEieb3ov044SPQyYox6MqviEYGN2qomJvsHnSIIxGISADxSbDYJkw64QrusrAN0fjiXtYHPSazRhWAsyyPQgZvRpWF46UpC_sqWs0ka8rwYHcYdzDASyiMaUloX9aYOsFqbUhI7b1z-37Mq2/s400/Black_White1.jpg" width="265" /></a></div>
<br />
Here's my left hand. This hand is 100% better than my right, because I am right handed. I used <a href="http://www.cherryculture.com/product.php?productid=17507&cat=291&page=1">Jordana French Manicure in White</a> as the base coat on my left hand and <a href="http://www.kissusa.com/669-8697/Nail_Artist_Paint_&_Stencil_Kit">Kiss Nail Art Paint in Black</a> for the paw prints and the kitty. For the top coat I used<a href="http://www.seche.com/"> Seche Vite Fast Dry Top Coat</a> ( I just bought this at CVS when I was purchasing the violet polish for day 6, and I am head over heals in love with Seche, I will never used another top coat again.)<br />
<br />
To make the paw prints, I started with the biggest nail dotter I have, and I made a triangle out of dots. Two dots (connected) on the bottom, and one dot (connected) on the top, then just added dots 3dots around it to create the paw print. For the cat I painted a half circle on my nail, added the ears, let is dry then added the eyes, nose and color in the ear. I debated whiskers, but I didn't want to mess up my already cute kitty.<br />
<br />
On to my right hand.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEio7s8iShdR6DBZHMVFtn-rjUxji9uYu2mumjGMgRvn3DOtFTA6g4BVVydqUkKgnAjkRzCG2ZGHSacSWmG1hAf18WSXkQ470qHxB_LRROWFsezlamTUfNMj-WnblpkcZ3o6KZiFkhWENavn/s1600/Blk_White2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEio7s8iShdR6DBZHMVFtn-rjUxji9uYu2mumjGMgRvn3DOtFTA6g4BVVydqUkKgnAjkRzCG2ZGHSacSWmG1hAf18WSXkQ470qHxB_LRROWFsezlamTUfNMj-WnblpkcZ3o6KZiFkhWENavn/s320/Blk_White2.jpg" width="220" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I wish the cat would have turned out better, it kind of looks more like a chinchilla. Haha. But it's really hard to place the dots correctly, when using my left hand. For the base coat, I used <a href="http://www.amazon.com/Sally-Hansen-Color-Quick-Black/dp/B0017QMJV4">Sally Hansen's Color Quick in Black</a>. For the paw prints and the cat I used <a href="http://www.cherryculture.com/product.php?productid=17507&cat=291&page=1">Jordana French Manicure in White</a>. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I must say these are my favorite nails I've done for this challenge so far. I'm really glad I get to wear these for a few days on our trip to L.A. Speaking of which, I wore my frog nails (Day 4 - Green) to Reno for a few days and that was a mistake, my nails were stained a lovely green for a few days. So I guess my lesson is don't wear the Milani Neon without putting a base coat on first.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Anyway, Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend, and look for a new post next week. Also follow me on <a href="http://pinterest.com/wildaboutpolish/">Pinterest</a>, as I pin my posts there as well, and post ideas and products. </div>

It's just not my favorite color, and of course I didn't own any violet nail polishes. I went to CVS yesterday, found <a href="http://www.sallyhansen.com/products/nails/nail-color/hard-nails-xtreme-wear">Sally Hansen's Hard as Nails Xtreme wear in Violet Voltage</a>, bought it, and used it for Day 6! I don't know what I was worried about, I really like the color.<br />

After putting two coats of <a href="http://www.sallyhansen.com/products/nails/nail-color/hard-nails-xtreme-wear">Sally Hansen's Hard as Nails Xtreme Wear Violet Voltage</a>, I used my<a href="http://www.konadnailart.com/contents/en-us/d16_konad_special_polish_10ml_01.html"> Konad Stamping Polish in White</a> with Shany SH18 stamping plate and used <a href="http://www.google.com/products/catalog?hl=en&rlz=1C1_____enUS430US430&q=seche+top+coat&bav=on.2,or.r_gc.r_pw.r_cp.r_qf.,cf.osb&biw=1366&bih=643&um=1&ie=UTF-8&tbm=shop&cid=11829071205807862390&sa=X&ei=8L62T-ngFMrTiAKV2YHgBg&ved=0CG0Q8wIwAQ">Seche Vite Fast Dry Top Coat</a>, for the top coat. Super happy with how they turned out! Tomorrow, Black & White, and I already know what I'm going to do. Stay tuned it's going to be really cute!</div>

In the 90's blue nail polish was HOT, and I kind of burned myself out on blue, so my blue nail polish consists of one color. <a href="http://www.milanicosmetics.com/p-78-specialty-nail-lacquer-neon.aspx">Milani Neon Dude Blue</a>, which I got on clearance for $2.00! <a href="http://www.milanicosmetics.com/p-78-specialty-nail-lacquer-neon.aspx">The Dude Blue</a> was used as my base coat. I used <a href="http://www.blogger.com/"><span id="goog_984749566"></span>Jordana French Manicure White<span id="goog_984749567"></span></a> for the flowers, and <a href="http://www.walgreens.com/store/c/wet-n-wild-megalast-salon-nail-color/ID=prod6097898-product">Wet n Wild Mega Blast I Need a Refresh Mint</a> as the center of the flower. I really need to get into the habit of making a video, or taking photos while I'm painting, to show you how it's done. The flowers are very easy, I took a medium sized nail dotter, dotted 5 dots in an oval shape. Then I took a toothpick drew lines from the middle of the petal to the center of the flower, added a dot of the <a href="http://www.walgreens.com/store/c/wet-n-wild-megalast-salon-nail-color/ID=prod6097898-product">I Need a Refresh Mint</a> to the center and the flowers were done. The top coat I used is <a href="http://w7x.makeupalley.com/product/showreview.asp/ItemId=137482/Matte-Topcoat/Hard-Candy/Top/Base-Coats">Hard Candy's Matte-ly in Love</a>.<br />
